Downtown Toronto is a 45-minute drive, depending on traffic, rush hour times are from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm weekdays. Highway 401 West to the Don Valley Parkway South will take you right into Toronto.
Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. If you need an earlier check in or a later check out please ask, it is not guaranteed but is available based on occupancy.
No, parking is free and we have plenty available for larger vehicles or vehicles that are towing boats/snowmobiles etc.
Yes, we have complimentary high-speed internet access in all of our guest rooms and board rooms, in the lobby and restaurant we also have free wireless internet.
In order to be guaranteed for a late arrival, you will need to provide a credit card at the time of reservation. If you do not wish to provide us with a credit card number while making your reservation we will hold your room until 4 pm on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived by 4 pm your reservation will automatically be cancelled. At check in you must provide a credit card that will pre-authorize for the entire amount. If you have given us a credit card you can still pay cash or debit at check-out. No cash/debit deposits will be accepted. No pre-paid credit cards.

The Durham Hotel & Conference Centre is the closest hotel to the General Motors Head Office located on Colonel Sam Drive; from the hotel, turn left onto Bloor Street, turn left onto Farewell Street; turn left onto Colonel Sam Drive. It is a short 5-minute drive. The General Motors plant is located on Park Street in Oshawa. From the hotel, turn left onto Bloor Street and then left onto Park Road South.
